Michigan House is an organization that serves as a platform for the state’s innovators and creatives to connect with a worldwide audience. Every year, Michigan House is heavily involved in the South by Southwest Conference and Festival (SXSW). This year, no one traveled to Austin, TX, though, SXSW has gone completely digital as SXSWOnline.
With the huge transition to an online platform, Foster Branding was hired to be the design lead. With that, we designed the online interface that will allow users to interact with us, as well as the overall “Kit of Parts” that allowed cohesion throughout the campaign’s touchpoints.
Over the course of the five-day virtual conference, Michigan House hosted three Official SXSWPanel Discussions, a virtual meet-up for entrepreneurs, a Michigan StartupPortfolio, and a Michigan House Booth on SXSW’s digital platform. In addition, MichiganHouse had a full schedule of daily online events aimed at an instate audience using a variety of social apps and platforms from Instagram to Clubhouse to theDetroit based social app Plain Sight.
